These enclosures do very different jobs, but we build them the same way. Our own team does the steel, electrical, controls, ventilation and suppression work in one shop, so the room arrives with its systems installed and tested instead of being pieced together on site.
What your enclosure needs depends on your process, your materials and your local fire and building officials. Tell us what happens inside and where it will go, and we configure the enclosure around the review your authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requires.
Industrial & environments
Start with what happens inside.

C1D1 / C1D2
Hazardous Locations
Rooms and enclosures for classified atmospheres, with ventilation, gas detection, interlocks and controls engineered around your area classification.

Extraction & solvent labs
Solvent Processing
Eight modular series of booths and labs for C1D1 and C1D2 solvent work, from compact indoor booths to the outdoor Cube Series container labs.

CSC & FCS series
Chemical & Flammable Storage
Steel storage buildings for chemical and flammable inventory, with ventilation, detection, suppression and graded-floor sump options.

FCS Series
Solvent Storage Buildings
Prefabricated steel buildings for drums, totes and safety cans of ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, hexane and other solvents, with exhaust and fire suppression installed before delivery.

Power & cooling
Data Centers
Prefabricated electrical buildings, cooling infrastructure and generator enclosures, with UL 508A controls and factory acceptance testing available as specified.

Automation
Robotic Cells
Heavy-gauge steel safety and acoustic enclosures for semiconductor, EV battery, welding and pharmaceutical automation, built around the robot and the process.

Built to UL 508A
AEL CORE Control Panels
The panel we put on our own enclosures: ventilation, lighting, airflow monitoring and the purge alarm on one familiar layout, built to UL 508A in our panel shop.

Modular cleanrooms
Cleanrooms
Hardwall, softwall and drop-ceiling modular cleanrooms with HEPA filtration and fan filter units, designed around the cleanliness class your process needs.

Labs & custom builds
Critical Environments
Fume hoods, mobile labs, field-deployable enclosures and one-off builds for work that does not fit a standard product line.
Solvent processing
What’s standard and what’s optional.
The two questions we get most about solvent booths and container labs, answered up front:
- Fire suppression is standard on the Cube Series container labs and optional on our indoor solvent booths.
- An explosion-proof motor starter and explosion-proof outlets are available as options on the Cube Series and on solvent booths.
- Ventilation, LEL gas detection and controls are built in-house and configured to your project’s hazardous-area design.
Compare the eight series on the solvent processing page, or call us at 888-502-6695 to talk it through with an engineer.
Every build
What all of these share.
- Built in-house: steel fabrication, welding, powder coating, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire suppression installation by our own team.
- Control panels built to UL 508A in our Santa Rosa panel shop.
- UL or ETL listed components.
- Approved Stat-X distributor.
- Factory testing, documented as specified.
FAQ
Questions we hear about industrial enclosures.
Which enclosure do I need for solvent extraction?
If the work happens in a classified area, start with Solvent Processing: those booths and labs are built for C1D1 and C1D2 solvent work. If you only need to store solvent, a Solvent Storage Building keeps drums and totes out of the process room. Many sites use both.
Is fire suppression included?
On the Cube Series container labs, yes: it’s standard. On indoor solvent booths it’s an option. Other enclosures are configured to the project and your AHJ’s review. We are an approved Stat-X distributor and also install dry chemical and clean agent systems.
Are explosion-proof electrical options available?
Yes. An explosion-proof motor starter and explosion-proof outlets are available as options on the Cube Series and on solvent booths. Explosion-proof control panels for classified spaces are available on request.
Who decides what my enclosure needs?
Your local fire marshal, building official or other authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), working from the fire and building codes your area has adopted and the NFPA standards they reference. We configure and document the enclosure for that review, and we’re glad to talk it through with your engineer or AHJ.
Can you build something that isn’t on this page?
Often, yes. Custom footprints, special coatings and liners, and integrated MEP are reviewed by our engineers. See specialty and custom enclosures, call 888-502-6695, or send the details below.
