Service planning

Answers before you request service.

Review the supported equipment, service scope, records, scheduling, and site information AEL needs to prepare a service proposal.

What types of equipment does AEL service and maintain?

AEL provides preventative maintenance for all equipment we manufacture — including modular cleanrooms, battery storage enclosures (Sentinel and EnergyCube series), hazardous location enclosures (C1D1/C1D2), chemical storage cabinets, and critical environment systems. We service HEPA and MERV filtration, fan filter units, explosion-proof motors and fans, LEL gas detection sensors, HVAC systems, fire suppression integrations, and PLC control systems.

How often should LEL sensors be calibrated?

LEL sensor calibration intervals should follow the sensor manufacturer’s instructions, the facility’s operating conditions, and the applicable maintenance program. Six-month or more frequent intervals may be appropriate for some sites. AEL can service supported sensor brands using traceable reference gas and scope-specific records.

What is included in a cleanroom preventative maintenance visit?

A cleanroom maintenance scope can include HEPA filter integrity testing, particle-count verification, differential-pressure checks, airflow mapping, FFU inspection, door-seal assessment, lighting checks, and a service report documenting findings and recommended actions. The final scope and testing methods are confirmed for the facility.

Do you provide nationwide service coverage?

AEL can quote service and maintenance for projects across the United States. Availability, response time, travel, lodging, and fees are confirmed for the site and requested scope.

Can you service equipment not manufactured by AEL?

AEL can evaluate common industrial components used in hazardous-location and controlled-environment systems, including selected fans, gas sensors, PLCs, HVAC equipment, and filtration. Non-AEL equipment is accepted only after compatibility, access, documentation, and serviceability are reviewed.

What compliance documentation do you provide?

Service records can include applicable calibration certificates, traceability information, airflow or particle data, inspection photographs, maintenance logs, and summaries referencing the agreed procedures or standards context. These records support facility maintenance, insurance, project, and regulatory review but do not guarantee approval by any authority.

Can AEL quote an ongoing maintenance program?

Yes. AEL can discuss annual, semi-annual, or quarterly service planning based on the supported equipment, operating environment, service scope, site access, and required records. The final schedule and included tasks are defined in the service proposal.

Which facilities can request service support?

AEL can review service requests for battery and EV facilities, cleanrooms and pharmaceutical environments, aerospace and industrial operations, hazardous-location projects, data-center support enclosures, and other controlled environments. Availability is confirmed after the equipment and site are reviewed.

AEL develops scope-specific service proposals for supported battery-storage enclosures, hazardous-location systems, and cleanroom equipment. The installed equipment, available records, operating environment, access, testing method, and required documentation determine the final work.

Battery storage enclosure and BESS maintenance

Battery storage enclosure maintenance can address the physical enclosure, doors and seals, HVAC and thermal-management equipment, ventilation hardware, supported controls, alarms and interlocks, environmental sensors, electrical distribution equipment, and project fire-system interfaces. AEL separates enclosure and supported-system maintenance from battery-cell, electrochemical, inverter, or BMS service unless those tasks are expressly included in the proposal. Service records can document observed conditions, completed work, measurements, photos, and recommended follow-up.

Sentinel enclosures

Hazardous-location enclosure service and gas-detector calibration

Hazardous-location service can include supported LEL or gas-detector calibration, bump testing, filters and sampling-path checks, ventilation fan and motor inspection, control-panel diagnostics, alarm or interlock tests, enclosure hardware review, and scope-specific records. Calibration intervals, reference gas, methods, alarm setpoints, area classification, and required inspections remain controlled by the installed device instructions, facility program, project documents, and responsible authority. AEL service does not by itself certify an area classification or guarantee code approval.

Hazardous-location enclosures

Cleanroom HEPA, FFU, pressure, and enclosure maintenance

Cleanroom maintenance proposals can cover HEPA or ULPA filter replacement, MERV prefilters, fan-filter units, doors and seals, wall or ceiling condition, lighting, supported differential-pressure sensors, environmental-monitoring hardware, and post-service documentation. Airflow mapping, particle counts, filter integrity testing, balancing, or certification are performed only when included in the agreed scope and by the responsible qualified party. Final performance requirements remain tied to the facility program and project criteria.
