Our Story
From hazardous locations to critical infrastructure.
We started building hazardous location enclosures for volatile environments — rooms where a single spark could be catastrophic. That’s where we learned that “good enough” doesn’t exist when lives are on the line.
That discipline carried us into battery energy storage, where thermal runaway demands the same zero-tolerance approach. Then into data centers, where uptime requirements make rework unacceptable.
Today we serve multiple industry verticals as a vertically integrated manufacturer using UL or ETL (Intertek) listed components and designing to applicable project standards. The philosophy hasn’t changed: design it right, build it once, ship it complete.
In-house capabilities
Everything is done in-house.
AEL is fully vertically integrated. All of the following work is done in-house by our own team:
- Control panels, including UL listed hazardous location control panels

- Fire suppression installation: dry chemical and clean agent systems

- Rack manufacturing: racks fabricated in our own shop to fit your equipment

2019
Advanced Extraction Labs founded.
2020
Began first HazLoc room designs and brought them to market, establishing our foundation in safety-critical containment.
2021
Expanded our product offerings to include containerized solutions, starting in-house manufacturing and vertical integration.
2022
Expanded classified-location engineering, control-panel, and third-party listing work for defined product and project scopes.
2023
Expanded product lines into cleanrooms and controlled environment solutions for high-precision manufacturing.
2024
Began building Sentinel battery storage systems, and expanded into data center modulars and BESS enclosures for major integrators.
2025
Moved into our new state-of-the-art facility to significantly expand manufacturing capacity and operational scale.
2026
Expanded service support for national industrial clients while continuing product and manufacturing growth.
